The writing style of this book would definitely appeal to well educated readers. For your female readers, the Converging can be extra satisfying. The female creatures are as adventurous as the males: they don’t faint into their male counterparts’ arms, but explore, swashbuckle, and persevere all on their own. Don't take my word for it - browse an excerpt by clicking on one of the links. Better yet read/buy the book. You will not regret it! Thank you George for your exquisite witing!!!

Hello, Jesica:
Effusive praise makes me blush, but thank you for the compliment all the same. When I wrote this book (and the ones to follow) I was determined to make no presumptions about the intellect of the person reading it. To that end, I wrote in a manner that pleased me. The end result (I think) is a more literary fiction that is somewhat more serious in tone. I tried to dispense with the banal quips and the silly off the cuff on-liners to be found in most horror stories today. I am particularly please by the way you've received my treatment of the female characters in the book. I can assure you that Converging series and the Land of Shades are populated by a wealth of female dynamos who are more than capable of forging their own way in the world I've created for them.
George
p.s. you're going to love Lorio, a character from Land of Shades. She could be the swashbucklers' poster girl!!
